Ghostwire: Tokyo, a first-person action game from Tango Gameworks, the studio behind The Evil Within and Hi-Fi Rush, is the highlight of the June 2023 Humble Choice selections. In the wake of a mysterious incident in which all people became ghosts, players explore Tokyo and engage in combat with demonic Yokai utilizing a combination of psychic abilities and melee assaults.
In the third-person co-op shooter-RPG hybrid Remnant: From The Ashes Complete Edition, groups of players explore dynamic environments. Although it borrows elements from both the Souls-like and rogue-like genres, including intense combat and procedural level generation, geometry dash game isn't quite as challenging as either one and your progress is never lost when you lose a battle. The Swamps of Corsus and Subject 2923 DLC additions are included in this version.
Curse of the Dead Gods is a harsh action-RPG where you explore randomly generated levels full with creatures and loot if you're searching for a more punishing roguelike experience. Another game from this month's list that deserves praise is Grime. The metroidvania and Souls-like game genres serve as inspiration for this 2D action platformer. These days, there are a lot of games that suit that description, but Grime stands out from the crowd thanks to its distinctive art style and character advancement systems.
The other games in June's Humble Choice lineup are Honey I Joined A Cult, a humorous management simulation in which you swindle your way to fame and fortune as the head of a cult, Turbo Golf Racing, Meeple Station, and a time-hopping investigation game called Eternal Threads.
