Fleet

The regional fleet consists of Embracer ERJ-195, Embracer ERJ-190, Bombardier CRJ900 and Bombardier CRJ700 crafts. The airline flies to numerous locations throughout the world on the major continents of North and South America, Asia, Europe, and Africa. In-Flight Facilities

The four travel classes that Lufthansa offers are first-class, business class, premium economy, and economy. Most long-distance routes offer first and business class. Some aircraft, such as the Airbus A380 and Boeing 747-400, are equipped with a roomy first-class cabin on the upper deck. A bed and an aisle side seat are included with a single top deck ticket.

Business class seats are available on the majority of long-haul flights. With a sizable seatback entertainment screen, the seats here can be converted into roomy beds. 2014 saw the introduction of premium economy on board Boeing 747-8 flights. In this instance, the seat pitch is 38 inches as opposed to to the 31-inch pitch available in the budget category. All overseas flights offer complimentary meals and beverages, regardless of the traveler's class.

There are a variety of newspapers and publications available in flight along with snacks, delectable meals, and beverages.

Ground Facilities

In the majority of the airports it serves, Lufthansa has a separate first class check-in counter and offers a separate first class lounge. In addition, Munich and Frankfurt each have a separate first class terminal. Passengers are welcomed to the Welcome lounge upon arrival and can take advantage of additional amenities including priority immigration and priority baggage retrieval.
