It's been a while since we had any updates about Cryptopia and the recent update from Grant Thorton looks promising. The firm now have possesionof the Cryptopia data which was previous held by the server company. Now they have to manually determine who has what and then do KYC to return the appropriate assets.

Cryptopia has announced that they are going out of business and opted for liquidation.
On Tuesday, the website went into maintenance mode and not long after, announced on their twitter that they are going out of busniness via the liquidation firm Grant Thornton. Despite managments efforts to return #Cryptopia to business, they've decided it was in everyone's best interest to liquidate.
