One of the essential rights protected by Articles 15 and 25 of the Indian Constitution is the freedom to practise one's religion freely. Every Indian citizen has the freedom to embrace any religion in accordance with his or her wishes, beliefs, etc., and to peacefully practise and propagate that faith. Marriage, divorce, or self-belief are among the reasons why someone could change their faith.
