Update Current Playback Area on YouTube TV
If you're traveling temporarily, YouTube TV will adjust your current playback area to your new location. When you travel outside of your home area, you can't watch local networks airing in your home area. You can see local programs in the location you travel to but you can't record anything outside of your home area.
To update your current playback area on YouTube TV: navigate to the YouTube TV app on Your TV. > Select your profile picture. > Next, click on "Location," and then "Current playback area." Then, follow the prompts to update the location on a mobile app or web browser.
To Update your current playback area on a mobile device or web browser > Navigate to YouTube TV > Select your profile picture > Next, click on "Location," then "Current playback area," and then "Update."
